NEW DELHI: National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday conducted searches of five locations in the Delhi-NCR region in the case involving the seizure of 3,000 kg of drugs in Mundra in the port Gujarat.
The searches, which covered residential premises and falls in Lajpat Nagar, Alipur, Khera Kalan, New Delhi and Noida, were related to the seizure of talcum stones semi-manufactured with smuggled drugs imported by M / s Aashi Trading Company.
During the searches, the NIA seized several incriminating documents, articles and articles, according to a statement issued by the investigative agency.
The relevant case concerns the seizure of 2,988.2 kg of narcotic drugs (heroin) in the port of Mundra, Gujarat, with the participation of foreign nationals in the acquisition and delivery of the consignment. The heroin was found hidden in the import shipment of “semi-finished talcum stones” from Afghanistan that had arrived from the port of Bandar Abbas, Iran.
