Ampere Electric has introduced the Magnus EX electric scooter with a claimed battery mileage of 121 km per charge priced at Rs 68,999. The Magnus EX comes with a sloped cradle design with increased trunk space and the battery can be removed and charged at home. The detachable lithium battery can be charged from any 5-amp outlet at home.
“Based on the market watch, comprising the average daily commutes of a normal person, any city commuter can drive up to 3 days on a single charge with the new Magnus EX Escort. It comes with the best optimal city driving speed in its class, up to 53 km / h, ”says the company.
There is a 1200 watt motor that claims to deliver 0-40 Kms in 10 seconds. The Magnus EX can be driven in 2 modes: super saver eco mode and power mode. The vehicle comes with an LED headlight surrounded by unique chrome trim, which is stylish and reflects well at night.
Taller people can now get superior comfort with a huge 450mm legroom – easy to stretch and stack essentials near the footrest while riding. The scooter has a unique footrest and grab handles for female passengers.
There is a 3-year warranty covering major aggregates, after-treatment warranty. Other features include keyless entry, vehicle finder, anti-theft alarm, roomy seats for driving comfort, large under-seat storage, and trunk light to easily identify items. It comes in colors like metallic red, graphite black, and galactic gray.
