1). Support for TypeScript 4.4


Angular v13 now supports TypeScript 4.4.

2). 100% Ivy and No More Support for View Engine

Angular 13 is now on 100% Ivy. The Laravel has converted all internal tools to Ivy in advance so that this change can function seamlessly

3). Changes in Framework and Dependency Updates

Angular 13 also boasts some crucial changes and updates. Now, RxJS v7.4 is the default for applications built with ng new. Current applications utilizing RxJS v6.x will need to update manually using the npm install rxjs@7.4 command.

4). Enhancements in Angular CLI

Angular 12is now supports the use of persistent build-cache by default for new Angular V13 projects.

according to the feedback form (REC), there is a 68% improvement in build speed with more ergonomic options available.

5). Changes in the Angular Package Format (APF)

Angular Package Format (APF) defines the structure of angular 13 packages and View Engine metadata. It’s the best strategy for packaging every third-party library in the web development environment.

6). Angular support removed IE 11


Angular 12 does not support Internet Explorer 11 as of version 13. Dropping IE 11 is a positive factor because it results in a smaller bundle size and faster app loading.

7). Changes & Dependency updates in Angular 13

Angular v13 also features some helpful updates and important changes. First up, RxJS 7.4 is now the default for apps created with ng new.
RxJS v6.x will have to manually update using the command npm install rxjs@7.4

8). Enhancements to Angular TestBed

The Angular team has made some notable changes to TestBed, which now correctly tears down test environments and modules after each test.
Since the DOM is now cleaned after tests, developers can expect more optimized, less interdependent, less memory-intensive, and faster tests.
