What is spatial audio?

Spatial audio is a kind of digital surround sound system where sound from all directions surrounds you.
How does spatial audio work?
Spatial audio works with the gyroscope and sensors that are equipped in headphones and other listening devices. What it does is that it creates spatial awareness on the device that you might be listening to music on. For example, if you turn your head, the audio will not lock where your head is, but instead lock where your device is. It tracks the movement of the head and then the audio moves with the head, something you have to experience to really understand how it works.
What do you need to make spatial audio work?
Apple Music to get started and having Apple devices makes the experience ‘complete’. It will also work on Apple AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, and other Bluetooth headphones.
Do you need to configure spatial audio for individual songs?
No. By default, Apple Music will automatically play Dolby Atmos tracks on all AirPods and Beats headphones with an H1 or W1 chip, as well as on the speakers built into the latest iPhone versions. iPad, Y Mac. How to enable spatial audio in Apple Music

Here under the Audio tab, you should see the Dolby Atmos option.
Select the “Always On” option and you will see the Dolby Atmos icon at the bottom of the song you are listening to.
