the Apple Watch Series 8 It will feature a larger screen and will be available in three sizes, reports PhoneArena.
The Series 8 will have a larger screen than the recently introduced Series 7. Apple this year it increased the sizes of the two models from 40mm and 44mm to 41mm and 45mm, respectively.
The larger model has a 1.9-inch screen, compared to the predecessor’s 1.78-inch screen, and the new watches also sport slimmer bezels.
The Watch 7 is the first model in three years to have a larger screen. Apple has also previously sold 38mm and 42mm watches.
Apple Watch Series 8 may have the flat edge design
Apple did not announce the flat screen or bezels on its Watch Series 7. This design is expected to arrive with Apple Watch Series 8 in 2022.
The company may launch three smartwatches next year: the flagship Apple watch Series 8, a successor to the Apple Watch SE and a rugged watch aimed at athletic users.
The Watch Series 8 is also designed for new health features, including a body temperature sensor, fertility feature, improved irregular heartbeat monitoring, and sleep pattern tracking.
Upcoming models may also offer non-invasive blood sugar monitoring and a blood pressure tool.
The Apple Watch Series 8 could be available in an option with a “rugged case” aimed at athletes, hikers and others who use the watch in more extreme conditions, which could also include a temperature sensor.
The Apple Watch accounted for 65 percent of global smartwatch revenue in 2020. More size options and an even larger screen will likely help the company maintain its position as the top smartwatch seller.
