Launching a scathing attack, J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina at a press conference said: “NC, PDPCongress had been selling dreams of all kinds to J&K people for the past few decades. ”
“And it was ironic to see that secessionist leaders who had married women from outside the country, including Pakistan, had assured them the rights and status of state subjects.”
Flanked by former Chief Deputy Minister Kavinder Gupta, Secretary General and former Minister of State Sunil Sharma, former Minister Priya Sethi and Spokesperson RS PathaniaSaid Raina, “J&K daughters who were marrying people within India but outside of J&K were losing all rights in J&K previously.”
“However, with the enactment of the J&K Reorganization Law, the idea of ’Ek Bharat Shreshshat Bharat’ has been put into play,” said the head of J&K BJP.

“And all those laws and agreements against women, youth and people have been put under the rug. Although according to existing agreements, some categories of people have requested domicile status subject to the fulfillment of certain conditions. ”
Furthermore, Mr. Raina said: “It is along the same lines that another progressive law has come into play. “The families of women marrying abroad have been eligible for domicile status,” he said, adding that this marks another milestone after August 5, 2019 in J & K’s history.
Mr. Raina also expressed his sincere appreciation to the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as well as the UT administration led by LG Manoj Sinha.
Union Cabinet in 2020 it had passed the Jammu and Kashmir Second Order (Adaptation of State Laws) of 2020 issued under section 96 of the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act, 2019.
