Speaking to the media here, Mayawati said that she is completely confident that the people of the “Brahmin community will not be misled by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and will vote for the party in the next elections.”
“A campaign, led by the general secretary of the BSP, Satish Chandra Mishra, will start from Ayodhya on July 23 to awaken the Brahmin community once again. The Brahmins will be assured that their interests will remain safe under the regime of the BSP, “he said.
On the issue of farmers, Mayawati said that all political parties should come together and hold the Center accountable.
“The indifferent attitude of the Center towards farmers protesting against the three agricultural laws is extremely sad. Pressure of all kinds needs to be exerted on the Center in Parliament. Due to the wrong economic policies of the central government, there is an increase in unemployment and inflation, which is causing difficulties for the people, “he said.
Mayawati said that the parliamentarians of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), during the Monsoon Parliament session, will raise issues such as rising fuel and cooking gas prices and issues related to Covid-19 vaccination.
“There are a number of issues on which the public wants the government to be held accountable,” he said.
The Monsoon session of Parliament begins on Monday.
