NEW DELHI: India reported 25,404 new Covid on Tuesday cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s overall coronavirus count to 33,289,579, according to data updated by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare at 9 a.m. This is the third consecutive day that the daily count has been kept below the 30,000 mark. Yesterday, the country reported 27,254 new cases.

In a span of 24 hours, 339 more people died due to COVID-19, raising the death toll to 3.62,207.

The number of active cases in the country has fallen by 12,062 in the last 24 hours. Currently, the active case count is 3.62,207.

The total number of people recovered from Covid-19 has now reached 3,2484,159, with 37,127 more people discharged after recovering from Covid-19.
In the last 24 hours, 14,30,891 samples were analyzed for Covid-19. At the national level vaccination The program, which began on January 16 this year, has so far administered doses of Rs 75.22 million vaccine.
India’s Covid-19 count had crossed the 20 lakh mark on August 7, 2020, 30 lakh on August 23, 40 lakh on September 5, and 50 lakh on September 16. It went from 60 lakh on September 28, 70 lakh on October 11, crossed 80 lakh on October 29, 90 lakh on November 20, and surpassed the one crore mark on December 19.
India crossed the grim case milestone of 2 million rupees on May 4.
