NEW DELHI: India reported 27,254 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s coronavirus count to 33,264,175, according to data updated by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare at 9 a.m.

The death toll has risen further to 442,655, with 219 deaths recorded in the last 24 hours.

In a sigh of relief, the number of assets cases in the country it decreased by 10,652 in the last 24 hours. Currently, the active case count is 3,74,269.

The total number of people recovered from COVID-19 now it has reached 32,447,032. In the last 24 hours, 37,697 more people were discharged after recovering from Covid-19. In the last 24 hours, 12,08,247 samples were analyzed for Covid-19. At the national level vaccination The program, which started on January 16 this year, has so far administered doses of the vaccine of Rs 74.38 million.

India’s Covid-19 count had crossed the 20 lakh mark on August 7, 2020, 30 lakh on August 23, 40 lakh on September 5, and 50 lakh on September 16. It went from 60 lakh on September 28, 70 lakh on October 11, crossed 80 lakh on October 29, 90 lakh on November 20, and surpassed the one crore mark on December 19.
