NEW DELHI: The government has implemented a new feature where people can update their vaccination status about him Aarogya Setu App.
“Vaccination status can be updated through the mobile phone number used for CoWIN registration. This would facilitate verification of vaccination been possible for travel and access to various facilities, “the electronics and information technology ministry said in a statement.
Here’s how you can update your vaccination status:
-All Aarogya Setu users will have the option to “update vaccination status” if they have not completed the revised self-assessment.
-When performing the self-assessment in Aarogya Setu, those users who have taken at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine will get the “partially vaccinated / vaccinated (not verified)” tab on the Aarogya Setu home screen.
-This is based on the declaration of the vaccination status that the user submitted during the self-assessment.
-The unverified status is verified after an OTP based verification from the CoWIN backend.
-According to the self-assessment, if the user has taken the first dose, a single blue border will appear and the status will be “Partially vaccinated (not verified). In this case, Aarogya Setu Icon will be Gray Shadow.
-According to the self-assessment, if the user has also taken the second dose, the Double Blue border will appear and the status will be “vaccinated (not verified)”. In this case too, Aarogya Setu Icon will be Gray Shade.
-If the user has taken the first dose, after verification, the text “(Not verified)” will be removed and the gray shadow icon will show the colors of Aarogya Setu.
-If the user has taken a dose By clicking the “>” button, the user will get the details of the vaccination as shown below:

-The vaccination details will appear below and the user can also download the certificate:

-After 14 days of the second dose of the vaccine, a complete blue screen will appear and the status will be “You are vaccinated”.
