LUCK: After India crossed the 75 crore mark in Covid-19 vaccination coverage on Monday, Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated the citizens and praised the prime minister Narendra modi for leading the national campaign.
Speaking to reporters in Lucknow, he said: “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has presented a model to the world on COVID-19 administration. Today, India managed to vaccinate 75 million people. ”
In addition, he reported said that the state was inspired by the Prime Minister and vaccinated about 9 million people in UP. “I congratulate all those people who were vaccinated,” he added.
“Vaccinating 75 crore people is an achievement in India’s fight against Covid. No other country has supplied so many vaccines. The number of people vaccinated in India in a single day is higher than the population of some countries,” Adityanath said.
According to an official statement from the Union Ministry of HealthTo date, a total of 75,10,41,391 doses of vaccines have been administered to eligible beneficiaries. Of these, 67,04,768 doses of vaccine were administered until 5:30 pm today.
The Union’s health minister, Mansukh Mandaviya, praised the country’s achievements, while the WHO in Southeast Asia also congratulated India for speeding up vaccination against Covid-19.
