England’s Emily Arlott Receives First Call For Test Against India | Cricket news


BRISTOL: Pacer Emily Arlott won an inaugural call-up for the England women’s team on Wednesday for the single event against India starting June 16.
England have announced a 17-member team that will be cut to allow unselected players to participate in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy (RHFT).

Arlott had recently scored a hat-trick at RHFT. It was also announced that Nat Sciver will be the new vice-captain in all formats.

“It has been difficult choosing a team given the balance of needing coverage in a COVID world while wanting to give players the greatest possible opportunity to play cricket,” said head coach Lisa Keightley in a ECB statement.
