NEW DELHI: Minister for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Thursday he announced that social and educational institutions will launch a nationwide campaign to “curb and squash the rumors and apprehensions spread by vile and vested interests” about anti-Covid vaccines and encourage people to get vaccinated.
During a meeting in Haj House in Mumbai, Naqvi said the state Haj committees, the waqf boards, their partner organizations, the waqf central council, Maulana Azad Educational Foundation and other social and educational institutions will be part of the campaign – ‘Jaan Hai To Jahaan Hai’ – which will be launched especially in villages and remote areas. She said that women’s self-help groups will also be included in the campaign. Naqvi said that “unfortunately some narrow-minded elements are creating confusion and fear about Corona vaccination.
