NEW DELHI: Former India starter Virender Sehwag revealed how he learned Sachin Tendulkarsignature of straight drive and kick his back foot just by watching the batting legend on TV.

“Nowadays, there are videos available on the internet about everything related to cricket for the younger ones to learn. Maybe if I had such facilities in my day, I would have learned things faster and possibly played for the Indian team at a younger age, “the right-hand hitter pointed out.
Sehwag, who was known for very little foot movement while batting early in his cricket career, revealed how Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, Sunil gavaskar Y Krishnamachari Srikkanth helped him improve his game.
“Everyone said I had to improve my foot movement, but no one knew how to do it. But the advice from Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, Sunil Gavaskar and Krishnamachari Srikkanth to stand in the middle instead of the leg stump helped me a lot.” Sehwag added.
