Indian Army Senior Commanders Will Discuss LAC Situation At High Level Meeting Next Week | India News

NEW DELHI: Amidst the intense military activities of the Chinese army in front of eastern Ladakh on its side in the Real control line, top Indian army Leaders would be briefed on the force’s operational readiness at a high-level meeting here next week.
“The preparation of the Indian Amy to deal with any situation will be discussed at the meeting which will be attended by all senior officers of the commander-in-chief,” a source told ANI.
The sources said that the meeting is scheduled to take place from June 16 for two days, where other security issues facing the country will also be discussed.
The army chief, General Manoj Mukund Naravane, has been monitoring the readiness of the force throughout the LACQUER and he has personally visited the Ladakh sector seven or eight times to take stock of the situation there.
The Chinese military is conducting large-scale military exercises in their traditional training areas, including the locations from where they aggressively diverted to the Indian front last summer.
The Indian army is hoping to resolve the issue soon as they have been holding talks with the Chinese military.
The military and diplomatic parliaments have contributed to the withdrawal of troops from the Pangong Lake area, but the stagnation at the other sticking points still continues.
India and China have been involved in a military confrontation for more than a year after the Chinese showed aggression throughout the Indian areas.
The Indian side retaliated heavily and deployed more than 50,000 soldiers and heavy weapons to stop the Chinese aggression.
