instagram stories: Instagram makes it easier to see Stories in foreign languages: All you need to know
Instagram today launched a new feature for its users that will make it easier to view content in foreign languages.
The platform has added the functionality of automatic text translation in Stories – ephemeral posts that last only 24 hours on a particular profile.
Do you need to enable automatic text translation in Instagram Stories?
No, the function does not require you to go through the application to enable any toggle or check a box. The feature will work and take effect as soon as it detects a foreign language in a post.
How to see the translated text?
Once the Instagram app detects a foreign language in a Story post, it will display the “View Translation” option along with a white message icon at the top left of the screen. Tapping this will open a section at the bottom of the screen with the original text and the translated text.
How many languages does the automatic translation of text in Instagram Stories support?
As of now, the feature will offer support for more than 90 languages, including Hindi, Arabic, Japanese, Portuguese, and more.

Is there also support for audio translation?
No. According to a report by The Verge, Instagram says that the audio translation is not available “at this time.”
