J&K govt sacks judge over ‘fake’ RBA cert | India News


SRINAGAR: The J&K government terminated the services of a judge and a forester on Saturday, and prematurely removed an official in the forestry development corporation due to misdeeds of a different nature.
While Judge Mohammad Yousuf Allai was fired for allegedly submitting a false Backward Reserved Area (RBA) certificate in 2000, Forester Kewal Krishan was fired for alleged false qualification certificates and block manager of the forestry development corporation. Parvaz bakshi he was prematurely retired from services for accumulating enormous wealth beyond his known sources of income, an official spokesman said.
“On the recommendation of the full court of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, the Lieutenant Governor has ordered the termination of the services of Mohammad Yousuf Allai, Civil Judge, Jr / Munsiff Division (suspended) with immediate effect, ”said the spokesperson.
