J&K LG visits family of teacher killed by terrorists | India News


JAMMU: Deputy Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha on Wednesday he visited the family of the martyred teacher Deepak Chand who was killed by terrorists in Srinagar October 8.
During his visit, the LG expressed its condolences to the heartbroken family for the irreparable loss they suffered. He assured the family of all the support of the government. Sinha said: “The administration fully supports the grieving family in this hour of tragedy and pain.”
Some unknown terrorists had entered the government children’s upper secondary school in the Eidgah town of Srinagar on Thursday last week, killing the principal. Supinder kaur, a Sikh from the village of Beerwah in Budgam, and her fellow teacher Deepak Chand, a Hindu from Jammu.
