TUMAKURU: A Karnataka SSLC student (Class 10), who had attempted suicide when denied the opportunity to sit for annual exams, managed to get the highest score on supplemental exams last month.

Greeshma, a student at the Alvas de Mudibidare school, scored 599 points out of a total of 625 points in the exams.

Among 53,155 students who took the tests, it scored the highest. Greeshma, who had scored 95 percent in class 9, did not receive a ticket for the SSLC exams because she could not pay the school fee. The parents found out about this when they tried to register her for the exams. Appeals to the Deputy Director of Public Instruction (DDPI) and the Minister of Education to no avail.

I also asked her to prepare for that without worrying. Even after I was removed from the cabinet, I remained I contacted the commissioner, the directors of the SSLC board, the deputy director of the Madhugiri academic district and the heads of the Alva institute to make sure that Greeshma attended the exams. After knowing the results and his achievements, I now have the relaxed mind. ”
