LG dedicates Rs 5.13 Crore six hi-tech multi-purpose video wall facility en route SMVD Shrine | India News


JAMMU: Deputy Governor, Manoj Sinha, who is also the president of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Sanctuary board, today inaugurated six high-tech Multipurpose video walls installed in prominent places on route Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine, at a cost of Rs. 5.13 million rupees, with the help of the Ministry of Culture of the Government of India.
The Lieutenant Governor also visited the holy shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji on the auspicious occasion of Durga Ashtami and paid tribute in the sanctum sanctorum. He prayed for peace, harmony and prosperity in UT.
He noted that the installation of high-tech multipurpose video walls at various locations on the runway will allow for the dissemination of real-time information to visiting pilgrims regarding the yatra, and will also add to the aesthetics of various locations on the runway.
The locations where the video walls would be displayed include Darshani Deodi Banganga, New Darshani Deodi Tarakote Marg, Langer Point at Tarakote Marg, Adhkuwari Complex, Bhairon ji platform, and Sanjichhat platform.
The live broadcast would be the main attraction for the pilgrims. It will also show awareness of various initiatives initiated by the Sanctuary Board for the facilitation of pilgrims.
The project, which will be carried out in two phases, includes the installation of six large outdoor video walls in prominent places of the track in the first phase, which opened today, and 20 indoor LED screens in the main establishments. from the Shrine Board during the second phase.
This project would mainly facilitate pilgrims through Live Atka Arti, Kill Ki Kahani (Stage Play) and Live Darshans on the way to Bhawan. In addition, it will also provide warning / display functions (24×7) regarding disaster prone locations on the runway during the rainy season and otherwise additionally provide information on missing persons or items and early weather forecast alerts.
The project also provides general information to visiting pilgrims, such as ambulance and medical facilities, accommodation and catering, water and restroom locations, general announcements, assistance information, dos and don’ts, etc.
The Lieutenant Governor ordered the officers involved to design a Standard Operating Procedure for high-tech Multipurpose Video Walls so that the facility could be used efficiently.
what’s more Ramesh Kumar, Executive Director of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board; Mukesh Singh, ADGP Jammu; Dr Raghav Langer, Divisional Commissioner Jammu; S Charandeep Singh Deputy Commissioner, Reasi; Shalindra singh, SSP Reasi and other officers from the sanctuary board, district administration and police were present on the occasion.
