LONDON: Old West Indies cricket player Michael Holding announced his retirement as a cricket commentator on Wednesday, ESPNcricinfo reported.
Holding was a member of the Sky sports comment panel for over 20 years. the Legend of the West Indies he had been contemplating his retirement for the past year.
“I’m not really sure how long I will go beyond 2020 with the comments. I can’t see myself going much later at my age. I’m 66 now, I’m not 36, 46 or 56,” he said. had said in a BBC radio talk show.
