The fifth Test match between England and India was canceled in Manchester. The BCCI and the ECB held several rounds of discussion to figure out how to play the test match, however the COVID-19 outbreak in the Indian team contingent forced the decision to suspend the game.
However, many claimed that players wanted to get into their respective IPL biobubbles and were therefore reluctant to show up on the fifth test.
Commenting on the same thing, Irfan Pathan said in a tweet: “My tooth fell out, can I blame @IPL ?? #easytarget. (Sic)”.
