OnePlus has finally revealed its latest smartphone, the OnePlus 9RT, which is a continuation of the 9R model that the company launched last year. While the new smartphone is not entirely new or different from its predecessor, it does receive some major updates.
OnePlus 9RT display
The new OnePlus smartphone features a 6.6-inch FHD + Samsung E4 AMOLED display with a 20: 9 aspect ratio. The display gets 1300 nits of peak brightness and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The company has also revealed that the smartphone screen comes with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and has a touch sampling rate of 1300Hz.
OnePlus 9RT chipset
Unlike the OnePlus 9R, which is powered by a Snapdragon 870 chipset, the new OnePlus 9RT features Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 888 chipset. The 5nm chipset smartphone will be available in three variants: 8GB of RAM + 128GB of internal storage, 8GB of RAM + 256GB of internal storage, and 12GB + 256GB of internal storage.
OnePlus 9RT camera
As far as the camera is concerned, the new OnePlus 9RT smartphone also receives an update from its predecessor here. The new device gets a more impressive 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor with f / 1.88 aperture and OIS. The primary lens is linked by a 16-megapixel secondary sensor with an f / 2.2 ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. The camera setup also has dual-LED flash. The triple camera setup is said to offer hybrid focus and 4K video recording.
In terms of the selfie camera, the smartphone features a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 camera with an f / 2.4 lens. The front camera also gets electronic image stabilization.
OnePlus 9RT battery
On the front of the battery, the device houses a 4500mAh dual-cell battery that supports 65W fast charging.
Currently, the smartphone is only available in China and nothing is known about global availability yet. The company is likely to launch devices in the Indian market soon.
