Asked about comments by Maharashtra BJP Chairman Chandrakant Patil that his party would make friends with the tiger (the symbol of Shiv Sena) if Modi wished, Raut said: “No one can make friends with a tiger. It is the tiger who decides who he wants to be friends with. ”
When asked about his tour of northern Maharashtra, he said it was part of Shiv Sena’s efforts to strengthen the organization. “All the allies of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) have the right to broaden their base and strengthen the parties. It is also the need of the moment. We are also holding meetings to strengthen our coordination with each other,” he said.
