PM Modi wishes Manmohan Singh speedy recovery; health minister inquires about his health | India News


NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra modi Thursday he wished his predecessor Manmohan singh, who has been admitted to the AIIMS, A quick recovery.
Singh was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences here Wednesday night after he complained of weakness after a fever.

Modi tweeted: “I pray for Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji’s good health and speedy recovery.”
Formerly Minister of Health of the Union Mansukh mandaviya met Manmohan and asked about his health.
“Singh’s condition is stable,” said a doctor at the hospital.
In a tweet in Hindi, Mandaviya said that he met former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at AIIMS, New Delhi and asked him about his health.
The Health Minister also wished Singh a speedy recovery.
The 89-year-old former prime minister was admitted to a private room at the cardiac center of the Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and is under the care of a team of cardiologists led by Dr. Nitish naik, the doctor said.
Singh had a fever on Monday and had recovered, but became weak and was drinking fluids.
