Farmers, who have been camping along Delhi’s borders for months, have come to Jantar Mantar to bolster their agitation against farm laws. This is the first time that farmers will be in Delhi since the January 26 violence. A group of 200 farmers were escorted by Delhi police from the Singhu border to reach Jantar Mantar, where they will protest throughout the monsoon parliament session.
“This fight lasts 8 months. Our panchayat it is running peacefully for 8 months. Peacefully, we will keep our point against the government. The Panchayat will take place in Jantar Mantar, which is called Kisan Parliament. 5 buses will go to Delhi. We will stay in Jantar Mantar for the entire session of Parliament, ”said Union leader Bharatiya Kisan. Rakesh tikait saying.

Congressional MPs from both houses gathered in front of the Mahatma Gandhi statue in the Parliament complex and raised slogans against the government and the prime minister.
They also carried posters and billboards to raise slogans in support of the farmers and their demands.
Congress has been demanding the repeal of the three agrarian laws, which farmers oppose, claiming that these laws will end the mandi and MSP procurement systems and leave them at the mercy of large corporations. The government has rejected these apprehensions as out of place.
