Ranveer Singh and Deepika padukone had a dream wedding in 2018 and a year later, the couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary in an equally grand way. Ranveer and Deepika, with their families, visited two iconic temples across the country to seek blessings on their special day.

Revealing an interesting detail about their one-year anniversary celebration, Ranveer recently shared on a show, “Basically, Deepika and I thought we should do something special on our first anniversary. As you know, our life is similar to 2 States (Chetan Bhagat’s novel). His family is from Bangalore, mine is from Mumbai. So we thought, since it’s our first anniversary, why don’t we visit both places? We went to the Golden Temple in Amritsar, but before that, we visited the temple seen in the picture, which is the temple of Tirupati. “Referring to himself as the” husband of the century “, Ranveer correctly guessed the temple of Tirupati in a picture that was shown to him on the show. He jokingly added: “Obviously, you should know that otherwise I will get a lappad (slap) when I get home.” Away from Mumbai, Ranveer and Deepika got married in Villa del Balbianello on Lake Como, Italy. The couple had two wedding ceremonies featuring South Indian and Sindhi rituals. After posting their dream wedding, Ranveer and Deepika hosted multiple receptions across the country for their close friends and family.

Interestingly, after their wedding, Ranveer and Deepika’s first film together will be 83. For the sports entertainer, Ranveer has put himself in the shoes of Developer Kapil while DP rehearses her on-screen love, Romi Bhatia. Directed by Kabir khan, ’83 is scheduled to hit screens on December 24, taking advantage of the Christmas holidays.
