Realme starts rolling out Realme UI 2.0 update to C15 and C12 smartphones, brings UI, system and privacy changes


After the test Realme UI 2.0 for Realme C15 and Realme C12 in beta for a while, Realme has finally started rolling out the stable version on both smartphones.
The release is part of the company’s Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) roadmap and is now available to download for both smartphones via OTA to update.
Realme has also confirmed that the update will be available for a limited number of Realme C12 Y Realme C15 users initially and will be followed by a broader rollout later.
Users of both smartphones will receive the update notification in the future. Alternatively, they can head to Settings -> Software Updates and check for the update manually.
The update takes firmware RMX2180_11.C.05 for Realme C15 and RMX2189_11.C.05 for Realme C12. It also includes the July 2021 Android security patch.

According to the official Realme post, both smartphones will receive a number of new features with Realme UI 2.0.
Some of them are new customization options, dark mode, third-party icons, new weather animation, improved launcher, new security and privacy settings, camera improvements, and more.
