NEW DELHI: Trust Jio has introduced a new prepaid plan for JioPhone users. The company has launched its new and cheaper prepaid plan. This new plan offers 28 days of validity and offers free access to the Jio Suite applications.

The all-in-one JioPhone plan offers unlimited local and national calls. The plan also offers 50 free SMS and a total of 3GB of data. This new plan Dependence Jio comes with a validity of 26 days. JioPhone users will also get free access to the Jio Suite apps, including JioTV, JioCinema, and more with this new plan.
Reliance Jio recently suspended two existing plans
The company has launched this new plan after discontinuing its existing Rs 39 and Rs 69 plans.
Both Rs 39 and Rs 69 Jio Phone recharge plans it was valid for 14 days. While the Rs 39 plan offered 100MB of data per day, the Rs 69 recharge plan came with 0.5GB of mobile data per day. Along with unlimited voice calls, the plans also offered 100 SMS to customers. Users also get access to Jio apps with the plans.
Recently, Reliance Jio announced a delay in the launch of its long-awaited Jio Phone Next. Reliance and Google have collaborated to make Jio Phone Next. The two companies have created a “special version of the Android operating system” for the phone.
Reliance has not specifically disclosed the reason for the delay in the launch of the JioPhone Next. The press release mentions the current global shortage of semiconductors (chips) throughout the industry, which appears to be the reason for the delay. The global chip industry has been experiencing shortages since early 2020. The shortages have affected companies in all sectors, including automotive and technology.
