The director general of police said the murder of the young probationed deputy inspector was a very tragic incident.
“We have lost a brave young officer who was just on the threshold of the service. He was learning the nuances of the police. He was sent to a hospital for a defendant check-up and, on returning from the hospital, he was Shot.
“He was immediately evacuated to a hospital, but unfortunately he succumbed. It is a very tragic loss for us and the family and we express our condolences,” DGP said here.
