NEW YORK: Indian trio of Aditi Ashok, Tvesa Malik and Diksha dagar will compete in the third stage of the Aramco Series in New York starting Thursday.
After the first two events in London and Sotogrande, Spain, the third in the series will take place in New York and the last will take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Tvesa has had many good results this season, but the Aramco Series events have not been among them.
It was very late in both London and Sotogrande. Therefore, you will be eager to change that trend in Glen oaks in New York like the Women’s European Tour cross the Atlantic after a week off.
On the contrary, Diksha Dagar was part of the winning team in London and in the individual classification it was T-12.
Aditi, a three-time LET winner, including her local Open, the Hero Women’s Indian Open, will make her first Aramco Series appearance as she takes a hiatus from the LPGA this week.
As in the previous two events, the third event in this format will see individual and team competitions play side by side once again.
Glen Oaks Club is hosting the event and with a stellar field assembled.
World number one and Olympic champion Nelly Korda is one of many American stars on the field alongside her sister and three-time Solheim Cup player Jessica.
Lexi Thompson, Lizette Salas, Angel Yin, Alison Lee and Lindsey Weaver have already participated in the Aramco Team Series this year and have been back for more.
Three more American players, Danielle Kang, Cheyenne Woods and Natalie Gulbis will try the Series for the first time.
From Europe, a host of Solheim Cup players are ready for action.
From this year’s winning European team are Captain Catriona Matthew plus Emily Kristine Pedersen, Charley Hull, Anna Nordqvist and Sophia Popov.
Bronte Law, Caroline Masson and Anne Van Dam, who were part of the winning European team in 2019, are also present.
The two singles winners from London (Marianne Skarpnord) and Sotogrande, Spain (American Alison Lee) are also in the fray.
